• Acclimatization: Spend a day acclimatizing in nearby towns like Uttarkashi to prevent altitude sickness.
• Permits: If planning to trek to Gomukh, obtain the necessary permits from the District Forest Officer in Uttarkashi.
• Best Time to Visit: May to June and September to October offer pleasant weather and clear skies.
